The Institute Of Druze Studies

The Institute of Druze Studies (IDS) is an academic research organization with board of directors from serveral universities and other research institutions. The Druze Faith has not accepted new converts since 1043 CE.

 

The IDS mission is to:

• Facilitate publications on Druze history, society, and faith.
• Encourage research and studies on historical and contemporary Druze communities in lebanon , syria, israel and jordan.
• Promote academic discourse about the Druzes diaspora and immigrant religions commuinities. 

 

The IDS is currently pursuing its mission through international conferences and an academic journal.
